Jonas Winkler and Jens Flück got the goals for Rotweiss Wettingen to earn the Swiss men’s title and a fifth appearance in the EHL as they got the best of Grasshopper Club Zurich in last Sunday’s final.

Winkler netted from a 24th minute corner to edged them in front before Flück grabbed another to put them 2-0 ahead a minute into the second half.

From there, Rotweiss stayed clear to win back the title for the first time since 2023, crowning a super season in which they went unbeaten in their 18 regular season games before beating Servette 3-1 in Saturday’s semi-final.

There was extra joy for the club as their women’s side also won the Swiss title on the day with a 2-1 final win over Servette amid late drama.

Rotweiss led 1-0 with less than two minutes to go before Servette equalised but, within 50 seconds of the final hooter, Sophie De Lint scored the clinching goal
