Aston Villa are interested in signing Jamie Gittens from Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window, according to TBR. It has been reported that Villa are keeping tabs on the progress of Gittens and have been impressed by the winger’s performances for Dortmund.
However, Villa are not the only club who are interested in a deal for the 20-year-old English winger. Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal all are keen on the England Under-21 international, who has scored 11 goals and provided four assists in 35 matches in all competitions so far this season.
Dortmund are willing to sell Gittens in the summer transfer window, according to the report, which has added that the winger himself is open to a move to the Premier League. However, the youngster is not going to push for a move away from the German club, who want as much as £70 million in transfer fees for him.
