Hubert Davis and North Carolina are showing interest in a 2026 recruit.
Hubert Davis and the North Carolina Tar Heels are still building their recruiting boards for future classes, including 2026. The Tar Heels have offered over 10 players so far in the class and are interested in plenty more.
Now, they are getting involved in the recruitment of a four-star small forward.
Per Sam Kayser, the Tar Heels are one of the teams that are now getting involved with Qayden Samuels, a prospect out of Maryland. The Bishop McNamara product has a total of 20 offer,s but that number will increase as not only North Carolina, but Kentucky are also getting involved.
The 6-foot-5, 200-pound small forward is ranked No. 22 nationally, No. 8 small forward and the No. 1 player in the state of Maryland per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.
Among the programs to have offered are Alabama, Illinois, Kansas, Tennessee, Texas, and Michigan.
With North Carolina yet to offer but showing interest, it will be something to watch moving forward this summer in terms of their involvement.
