For the better part of the spring and early summer, Colorado head coach and NFL legend Deion Sanders was dealing with some pretty serious health issues. But as his team gets ready for his third year in charge, he had a message about his health.
Taking to X on Friday morning, Coach Prime declared that he’s back and that he’s feeling “great.”
“Back and Feeling Great!” Sanders declared.

It’s welcome news for Colorado fans given some of the brutal health issues Sanders has dealt with in recent years. He’s dealt with blood clots in the recent past which caused him to lose several toes and nearly cost him his entire foot.
As a result, fans were cheering for Coach Prime when he made his post this morning:
“Welcome back Coach! Can’t wait for the season to start! Thank you for all that you do!!!” one Colorado fan wrote.
“Boulder Missed you Deion. Let’s have a great season !!” wrote another.
“Welcome back Coach! God is good,” a third wrote.
“Love you, Coach Prime! Keeping you lifted, brother! I wish you all the best and a winning season!”
“Go, Buffs, go!! Glad you’re back more importantly, glad you’re in the hands of God.”
“The haters are distraught!! Go Buffs!!”
“Welcome back Coach!!”

The 2025 season might be the biggest test of Sanders’ head coaching career. For the first time since taking over the team he won’t have the services of his son Shedeur Sanders or of all-world two-way player Travis Hunter.
The Buffaloes are now fully a team of players that he has limited experience working with. Some of them have the unenviable task of replacing two of the best players in the country.
One way or another, we’re going to find out just how good of a coach Deion Sanders is this season.
