Trent Seaborn is a four-star quarterback in the 2027 recruiting class and is set to take some visits to some big schools in the fall, including multiple in the SEC.
According to Rivals’ Chad Simmons, the Alabama Crimson Tide, Oregon Ducks, Auburn Tigers, Miami Hurricanes, and South Carolina Gamecocks will have Seaborn on campus.
Seaborn goes to Thompson High School in Alabama and is the sixth-best recruit in his home state, per 247Sports composite rankings. He is also the No. 19 quarterback recruit in the class and the No. 239 overall recruit in the nation.
A lot of college football programs are putting the finishing touches on their 2026 recruiting classes, but it’s never too early to start looking at 2027. Some programs have already secured commitments from players in 2027, including the Crimson Tide. They have two commits in the class, giving them the No. 11 recruiting class in 2027, per 247Sports.
Alabama will try and get a third one in Seaborn once he gets to the campus in the fall.
The Crimson Tide are set to open their 2025 college football campaign in 11 days on August 30 when they take on the Florida State Seminoles in Tallahassee. It should be a fun ACC-SEC matchup to start week one of this season.
Alabama comes into the game as a 13.5-point favorite, per ESPNBet. The line opened at 11 and then went up.
Kickoff will be at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
