Premier League Goals Scored by Clubs for Matches Played in 2025 from 1st January to 23rd August

Season Overview

The 2023/24 Premier League season witnessed Man City clinching a historic fourth consecutive title, a first in English football history. Despite strong competition from Arsenal and Liverpool, City managed to secure the championship on the final day, finishing with 91 points.

Haaland continued his brilliant form, securing the Golden Boot with 27 goals. At the other end of the table, all three promoted teams—Sheffield United, Burnley, and Luton Town—faced relegation, marking the first time since the 1997/98 season that this has occurred. The season also introduced a new stoppage time rule aimed at reducing time-wasting, leading to longer added times and increased late-match drama. Notable managerial changes included Jürgen Klopp announcing his departure from Liverpool at the end of the season, and Roberto De Zerbi leaving Brighton & Hove Albion by mutual consent.
