Isaac Bonga could be poised for a return to the NBA after his strong performance for Germany in EuroBasket. Bonga received some level of NBA interest this offseason, but signed with Partizan Belgrade in Serbia after a real offer never materialized.
Bonga could draw more serious interest during the 2026 offseason.
Bonga was the 39th overall pick in the 2018 NBA draft by the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers traded Bonga to the Washington Wizards a year later for the team to clear cap space.
Bonga last played in the NBA during the 2021-22 season with the Toronto Raptors, averaging fewer than five minutes over 15 games. Bonga spent last season with Partizan, averaging 7.4 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists while shooting 39.3 percent on three-pointers in 22.0 minutes over 63 games.
