The 2025 WNBA Playoffs are off to a hot start, but things are a bit cold for the defending champion New York Liberty. Ionescu and Co. will have to turn it around after a Game 1 blowout loss at the hands of the Phoenix Mercury, but never count out the experience and poise that winning it all can bring.
The Nike Sabrina 3 signature shoe hasn’t had a hot start either. It’s largely due to rather boring colorways and a design that just doesn’t stand out in comparison to what else is out on the market. While the preceding two models were able to stand on its own, the third Sabrina model reads more as “safe” than bold and lacks the newness that drove consumer interest.
This upcoming “Mint Foam” colorway is the only one that possesses a true connection to fans as it subtly matches the Liberty green, while the chrome finish on the textured Swoosh adds a much-needed punch. Beneath is a solid white outsole, leaving us to wonder if Nike should’ve gone in a bolder direction.
Things can certainly change once Sabrina and New York turn it up, so perhaps the tune will change once this pair hits stores this October. See official images ahead and stay tuned for updates.
