Featured tee time for Round 1
While no 2025 U.S. Ryder Cup players are in the field at the Sanderson Farms Championship this week, the same cannot be said of the victorious European team.
Rasmus Hojgaard, who played for Europe last week at Bethpage Black, is teeing it up this week in Mississippi, hoping to improve his FedEx Cup standing and eligibilty for the 2025 PGA Tour season, as are many of his competitors
That includes Rasmus’ twin brother Nicolai Hojgaard, who played on the 2023 Ryder Cup team.
There is a recent U.S. Ryder Cup player in the field, too: Max Homa. Homa has six wins on the PGA Tour and played for the 2023 American team in Rome. His game has been inconsistent since, so he’s hoping this week jumpstarts a campaign that sees him rejoin the U.S. team for the 2027 Ryder Cup.
You can watch Thursday’s first round of the 2025 Sanderson Farms Championship from 4-7 p.m. ET on Golf Channel. You can also stream a live simulcast of Golf Channel’s coverage via NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports App.
