Colorado offensive lineman Jordan Seaton is having himself a season on the field, but it was his reaction on social media that stole the show this week. According to PFF, Seaton currently leads all offensive linemen in college football with a 91.4 pass block grade, an incredible number for a player who has become the anchor of the Buffaloes’ front. That alone is worth celebrating.
But when PFF shared a graphic highlighting Seaton’s accomplishment, the picture they chose wasn’t exactly flattering. Instead of looking like the most dominant blocker in the country, Seaton looked like a guy who just finished off three plates at the team dinner. Naturally, he couldn’t resist poking fun at himself.
“Is my stomach really that big?” Seaton posted on X, complete with three laughing emojis.
The post immediately gained traction, with fans piling in to laugh along with the Buffaloes’ star tackle. It’s the type of response that shows Seaton not only has the talent to dominate defensive lines but also the personality to make him easy to root for.
At 6-foot-5 and 330 pounds, Seaton is every bit the imposing figure you’d expect of a Big 12 lineman. Still, even the best players can get humbled by a bad photo, and the sophomore didn’t let it slide without a laugh. For Colorado fans, it’s just another reason to enjoy watching him both on and off the field this season.
So while PFF’s numbers prove Seaton is the best in the country right now at protecting the quarterback, his own words prove he’s got a sense of humor, too. And that combination might make him one of the more likable big men in college football.
