The Wildcats easily handled Nicholls on Tuesday, cruising to a 77-51 victory in front of Big Blue Nation. Sophomore guard Collin Chandler led a balanced scoring attack with 15 points and electrified the crowd in the second half with an early contender for the dunk of the year.
Valparaiso also secured a win in its first game of the 2025-26 campaign, holding on in a tight contest against Eastern Illinois. Freshman forward JT Pettigrew completed a traditional three-point play with only 11.4 seconds remaining to lift the Beacons to victory.
