An interesting report emerged yesterday that suggests that North Carolina head football coach Bill Belichick made a rather odd request to his staff regarding his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.
According to Matt Hartman of The Athletic, Belichick sent a request to members of the UNC staff asking that they copy the 24-year-old Hudson on all emails to him moving forward. Hartman later clarified that this was specifically sent to the UNC communications staff.
“I am including Jordon on this email so she can also keep up with our postings. Can you include her on anything you send to me? Thank you,” Belichick wrote in an email regarding “Facebook social media and web content.”
As you might expect, this news hasn’t gone over well with football fans.

Over the past 24 hours, Belichick and Hudson have been ripped by some for “unprofessional” behavior.
“Please reply to this email with approx. 5 bullets of what you accomplished last week and cc your manager,” one user wrote, likely referencing a staff policy allegedly enacted by Tesla owner Elon Musk.
“Unprofessional and inappropriate,” wrote another.
“Hiring your girlfriend almost 50 years your younger is definitely a move that has zero downsides that I can think of. Bill Belichick is definitely taking his job very seriously!” a third remarked.

Others believe that the report is simply making a mountain out of a molehill, pointing out that there’s nothing wrong with Hudson being involved in the social media part of things given that she’s in her mid-20s while Belichick is in his 70s.
“Does it surprise you that the ~70 year old man would prefer for his ~25 year old lover to manage his social media & web postings? fr,” one user replied.
“Having his young gf cc’d on emails regarding social media posts and delegating that to her seems smart for a 70+ year old man to do,” another pointed out.
“Yeah only for social media stuff, makes a ton of sense if you think about it,” wrote a third.
Do you think the request is unprofessional, or is it just a normal procedure for someone wanting to shift social media responsibilities?
