What are the Red Lions’ ambitions for this new Pro League season?
“It is an interesting Proleague 2025/2026 in that it will be a large part of many teams’ preparation towards the World Cup as well as giving a ticket to L.A Olympics. This means that there will be high interest for the teams competing at the top of this competition.”
Are you already looking ahead to qualification for LA 2028?
“All teams (including us) would enjoy an early ticket to the biggest event in the World hockey calendar. L.A is never too far away. It will not be long until these Olympic games will start to be a focus point but first all eyes are turned to the World Cup in Belgium & Holland.”
How important is the Pro League in your preparation for the next major tournaments?
“The Proleague gives us a chance to develop players as well as improve our game readiness for big competitions. We will be using it in that way.”
How do you plan to grow as a team during this season?
“We have many new players in our program who need to gain experience. The more that this group can play together the faster they go through this process. Already we have some players showing increased readiness for top international hockey.”
