I’m writing today to announce that this is my last post with the site. I’m heading off to graduate school in January, so I wouldn’t be able to commit the necessary time to watching games and writing articles as I was these past two years.
Although I’m sad to leave, I’m incredibly grateful for the time I spent here. If you needed any reminder, there’s a great group of writers here that I am thankful to have worked with. I never expected I would have the opportunity to interact with baseball as a job! It was a bit too much fun to really count as work.
It was a fascinating time, these past two seasons, to join in on Brewers coverage. Before I even started working with Brew Crew Ball, I dragged my family into watching Milwaukee games with me as we followed their playoff run in 2023, following Sal Frelick as he broke into the lineup at just 23 years old. Young players like Jackson Chourio and Brice Turang came into their own, developing into cornerstone players. It’s hard to ask for more entertainment than what the Brewers provided these last few years.
So, thank you to everyone who read my work, and thank you to the folks at Brew Crew Ball. I might be leaving now, but hopefully one day, I can jump back into baseball writing. In the meantime, I’ll be rooting for Milwaukee with you.
