Sporting super couple Ana Ivanovic and Bastian Schweinsteiger are on the verge of making their split legal.
Former world No. 1 Ivanovic filed for divorce from former soccer star Schweinsteiger in Munich District Court last month, according to German publication Bild.
The couple announced their separation last July.
The 38-year-old Ivanovic, who officially retired from the WTA Tour in December of 2016, has reportedly filed for child support in Mallorca. Serbian superstar Ivanovic lives mainly in Mallorca with the couple’s three sons, Luka, Leon and Teo.
Ivanovic and Schweinsteiger were married at the Venice city hall in July of 2016.

The wedding came eight years after Ivanovic defeated Dinara Safina to capture the 2008 Roland Garros championship.
The couple reportedly split due to Schweinsteiger’s extensive travel schedule for endorsement appearances, while Ivanovic preferred spending time with their children at their homes in Mallorca and Serbia.
One of their last public appearances together came at Laver Cup.
