PSG will aim for their fifth win in the group stage of the 2025/26 Champions League when they travel to San Mames to face Athletic Club on Wednesday.
The reigning European champions sit second in the table with 12 points from five games, while Athletic have struggled, collecting only four points and sitting 27th overall.
Athletic have found the Champions League a tough challenge this season. Despite their position, the Basque side are just two points behind 24th-placed FC Pafos in the play-off race.

They also suffered a home defeat to Bayern Munich in November. Despite this, 12 points from five matches keeps them second in the table, just three points behind leaders Arsenal. PSG lead the competition in goals scored, with 19 so far.
In Ligue 1, PSG are second with 33 points from 15 games, one point behind Lens, and they lost their most recent away fixture against Monaco. The Parisians come into this match after a 5-0 victory over Rennes on Saturday and will be looking to secure another strong result.

Athletic will be without Aitor Paredes due to suspension, having received his third yellow card in the previous Champions League game against Slavia Prague.
Yeray Alvarez is serving a long-term suspension for a doping violation. Injuries to Robert Navarro, Benat Prados, Unai Egiluz, Maroan Sannadi, and Inaki Williams leave the squad stretched, while Aymeric Laporte is also sidelined following the Atletico Madrid match. Nico Williams could be deployed in attack.
For PSG, Lucas Hernandez is suspended after a red card against Tottenham. Injuries rule out Desire Doue and Achraf Hakimi, and the fitness of Nuno Mendes, Lucas Beraldo, and Lucas Chevalier will be monitored.
