Will Mencl has quickly emerged as one of Arizona’s most promising young quarterbacks, blending statistical dominance with growing national recruiting attention.
On Friday nights in Chandler, Arizona, the Wolves’ offense hums with rhythm and confidence, and much of that is thanks to the junior. Standing at 6-foot-3 and 205 pounds, Mencl has become the centerpiece of Chandler’s attack, a pocket passer with poise beyond his years.

Recruiting attention has followed. 247Sports lists him as the No. 21 quarterback in the 2027 class and the No. 7 recruit in Arizona. His offer list is already impressive, including Oregon, Missouri, North Carolina, Arkansas, Boston College, Kansas, Kansas State, San Diego State and more.
His recruitment gained momentum recently, with Oregon offering in late November and Missouri in October, signaling interest from Power Five programs.
