I don’t have to tell you that the Braves had a tough year in 2025. The season started with an 0-7 road trip and really never got off the ground. They had 3 starting pitchers go down in the space of five days. Their collective hitting approach was, eh let’s go with interesting. I think a lot of Braves Country had a tough time as well. It’s been one thing after the other.
But another way to look at it is that it’s been almost seven months since the Braves lost a player for the season. But only if you don’t count the injury concerns around Joe Jimenez and Sean Murphy, I guess. Sigh.
So can Braves Country do better than just getting by this year? I’m gonna say yes. It’s ok to be optimistic about baseball in late December. Maybe 2026 will be a better year for all of us.
