Quarterback Drew Mestemaker, the FBS leader in passing yards this season, has made a decision on his new school.
Mestemaker is transferring from North Texas to Oklahoma State, he confirmed to ESPN’s Pete Thamel on Saturday. He follows his former North Texas head coach Eric Morris, who he called “the best play-caller in the nation.”
Mestemaker led the country with 4,379 yards and 34 passing touchdowns this season as a redshirt freshman.
Naturally, this put him on the radar of many larger schools, but he chose to stick with Morris, who coached him last year.
