Milwaukee Bucks president Peter Feigin transitioning out of role

Milwaukee Bucks president Peter Feigin will be transitioning out of his role after 12 seasons, the franchise announced Monday.

According to the team, Feigin will help in the transition over the coming months as Josh Glessing, who served as the chief of strategy and development of Haslam Sports Group, takes over as team president and begins overseeing the Bucks’ business operations.

“Serving as President of the Milwaukee Bucks has been the honor of my professional life,” Feigin said in the team’s release about the move. “Together with our ownership group, partners, players, and an incredible staff, we built something truly special for this city and state. I am incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished and confident that the organization is in tremendous shape.”

Feigin served in the role since 2014 and oversaw the team’s business operations as they built Fiserv Forum and the surrounding Deer District. The Bucks won the 2021 NBA Championship, the franchise’s first title in 50 years, in Fiserv Forum, and tens of thousands of fans filled the Deer District on the night of Game 6 of the 2021 NBA Finals.

Glessing, a Wisconsin native, spent two seasons as the interim president of business for the Columbus Crew, an MLS team owned by Haslam Sports Group, and he was named to the Sports Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 list in 2024.

I have known it my entire life.
