Welcome to another Arsecast Extra, the Arsenal podcast, with myself and James from @gunnerblog.
In this episode we look back at Thursday’s frustrating 0-0 draw with Liverpool. Arsenal failed to live up to expectations but still extended their lead at the top of the Premier League. The Gunners had the best of the first half, but fell way short in the second period – we analyse the reasons why that was the case, before touching on Viktor Gyokeres’ performance and how much of an issue this is now for Mikel Arteta. We also chat about how Liverpool created very little, the subs we made, and the recent run of form wins that ended with this draw, before answering listener questions about the Gabriel Martinelli/Conor Bradley incident, what options we have up front, as well as ways to get more out of Gyokeres, Myles Lewis-Skelly, like for like changes, and lots more.
