Donyell Malen scored on his debut as Roma recorded their third straight Serie A victory with a 2-0 win over Torino.
Paulo Dybala was also on target with his first league goal in three months for the Giallorossi, who avenged their 3-2 defeat when the sides met in the Coppa Italia five days earlier.
Malen thought he had broken the deadlock when he poked home from 11 yards out, but his effort was ruled out for offside following a VAR review.
However, the Netherlands international was not to be denied in the 26th minute, receiving Dybala’s pass before sweeping past Alberto Paleari in the Torino goal.
Valentin Lazaro shot straight at Mile Svilar as the hosts pushed for an equaliser, but Roma doubled their advantage 18 minutes from time with Dybala neatly finishing from close range.
Malen hit the side-netting and, after Che Adams grazed the post at the other end, Robinio Vaz called Paleari into action, but the two-goal cushion saw the visitors home.

Data Debrief: Dybala brings up 200 as Roma go Dutch
With a goal and an assist, Dybala took his tally of direct involvements in Serie A to 200 (131 goals, 69 assists), making him the first foreign player to do so in the last 20 seasons. He is also fifth to reach that landmark overall, after Ciro Immobile, Fabio Quagliarella, Antonio Di Natale and Domenico Berardi.
Since he joined Roma in the 2022-23 season, only Rafael Leao (27) and Federico Dimarco (21) have provided more assists in Serie A than the Argentine (20).
Malen opened the scoring, becoming the first Roma forward to find the net on his Serie A debut for the club since Stephan El Shaarawy against Frosinone in January 2016.
The former Aston Villa player is also the fifth Dutchman to score for the Giallorossi in the Italian top-flight, after Kevin Strootman, Justin Kluivert, Rick Karsdorp and Georginio Wijnaldum.
