Harman Dayal of The Athletic: Evander Kane is one Vancouver Canucks pending UFA who could be moved ahead of the trade deadline. He’s been playing better of late and can still be an effective winger. Still, his trade market has been reported as ‘lukewarm.’ They’ll be looking to flip Kane at the deadline for a draft pick. Kane also needs to pick up his game if he’s looking to secure a better contract for next season.
Teddy Blueger has recently returned, and a team looking for some depth might come calling. He’s missed almost the entire year, so he’ll need to show teams he’s healthy leading up to the deadline.
