The penultimate day of the Barcelona Shakedown has concluded as F1’s teams continued to put their newest creations to the test, while Aston Martin also ventured out on track for the first time.
In a change from last season, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya has hosted the five-day shakedown – with teams permitted to run on any three of those five days – in private due to the sweeping new regulations that come into play for the 2026 F1 season.
This extra opportunity to run, on top of two pre-season tests in Bahrain (from February 11-13 and 18-20), give the teams more of a chance to gather all-important data about their brand-new machines that will keep us gripped for the next year.
