Only one New Englander – Greenwich Country Day right-hander Bryce Hill – earned a spot on MLB’s introductory list of the top 100 prospects for the 2026 draft. And with Hill coming in at No. 81, it doesn’t appear likely that any New Englander will be a first-round selection.
However, things can change quickly once players return to the field.
An entire spring season will be played before the 2026 draft begins July 11 in Philadelphia as part of MLB’s All-Star Week festivities.
