Mark Few is officially named a Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2026 Finalist. This is the second straight Hall of Fame nomination for the leader of the Gonzaga Bulldogs, as he hopes this is the year he gets the call.
Few was named with 10 other notable North American names. The Class of 2026 will be announced during the NCAA Final Four weekend in April.
Few ranks as the winningest active NCAA Division I coach by a winning percentage at 83.3 percent with an overall record of 766-154. The legend has also coached over 31 former Zags (and counting) to have played in the NBA during his tenure.
Since taking over the head coaching reins for the Gonzaga program way back in 1999, Few has turned a small Pacific Northwest Jesuit institution into a college basketball powerhouse. He’s had major accomplishment after major accomplishment during that nearly 30+ year span. Here are a few, no pun intended:
Few will someday have his name etched in history in Springfield, Massachusetts.
