Ben then expanded on the meditation side of things, as Wes asked him whether or not he sets targets for himself on the pitch.
“The meditation is more about breathing, being with yourself. But visualisation, what you just said, I’m doing that every morning before I start to do everything else.
“I really do believe in it, I really do believe in setting goals and appreciating the things that I have and that I’ve done.
“I think you get everything back, you know, from the all the hard work, appreciation and visualisation of what you do want.
“I try to always tell my family or friends to try it, because everyone has some kind of stress in life.
“It’s normal, but like try to do breathing, at least. You don’t have to do meditation because meditation is quite hard to get into because it’s a lot of thoughts, especially if you are never used to it.
“But you have to give it a try, and you have to give it time because it takes a couple of weeks, maybe even months. You have to focus on the breathing.”
