Arizona State Star Jordyn Tyson Donates $29K to Phoenix Children’s Hospital

One of the biggest stars in the Arizona State program just made a major impact off the field.

Standout wide receiver Jordyn Tyson recently presented a $29,366.05 donation to Phoenix Children’s Hospital, with the funds generated through an NIL partnership involving Tyson and former Arizona State quarterback Sam Leavitt alongside the restaurant chain Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers.

The fundraiser was a major success, raising thousands of dollars for one of the region’s most important medical institutions. Tyson formally presented the check to representatives from Phoenix Children’s Hospital, highlighting how NIL opportunities can create meaningful impacts beyond the playing field.

In an era where NIL discussions often center around endorsement deals and player compensation, Tyson’s fundraiser showed another side of the evolving college athletics landscape, one where athletes can leverage their platform to give back directly to their communities.

And Tyson’s impact isn’t limited to charity work.

The explosive receiver is widely considered one of the top prospects in college football heading toward the 2026 NFL Draft. With elite speed, playmaking ability, and a knack for producing big moments, Tyson has steadily climbed draft boards throughout the past two years.

In fact, many early projections already have Tyson landing inside the Top 10 picks of the 2026 draft, and there’s increasing buzz that he could become the first wide receiver selected when the draft arrives.

If that trajectory holds, Tyson could soon join the growing list of Arizona State players making a major impact at the next level.

But before any NFL dreams become reality, Tyson has already made it clear that his influence extends well beyond football. By helping raise nearly $30,000 for Phoenix Children’s Hospital, the Sun Devils star showed how college athletes can use their platforms to support causes that matter.

It’s the kind of moment that reminds people that NIL isn’t just about business; sometimes it’s about giving back.
