The LSU Tigers have made a valuable addition to their coaching staff for the 2026 season, as they’ve hired Baltimore Ravens quarterbacks coach Tee Martin, per Jordan Schultz. Martin had been with the Ravens for five seasons, serving as the team’s wide receivers coach from 2021-2022 and quarterbacks coach from 2023-2025. He was hired as an offensive analyst by LSU.
Prior to his time in Baltimore, Martin spent 15 seasons coaching primarily in the college ranks, including with his alma mater, the Tennessee Volunteers. He was at Tennessee from 2019-2020 as the wide receivers coach, passing game coordinator and assistant head coach.

Before that, Martin worked at USC with now-LSU head coach Lane Kiffin, with the pair now reuniting after over a decade.
As a player, Martin was a standout quarterback, starting at Tennessee for two seasons (1998-1999). During his time, he led the Vols to a 22-3 record and a victory in the BCS National Championship in his first year as the starter.
The former quarterback brings a proven track record of elevating offenses, as the Ravens excelled over the past couple of seasons thanks to the elite play of quarterback Lamar Jackson. Heading to LSU, Kiffin and Martin will hope to get the most out of a talented receiving core around star transfer quarterback Sam Leavitt.
