RM Sotheby’s has announced that one of Michael Schumacher’s title-winning Formula 1 cars – Ferrari F2001 chassis 211 – will be put up for auction at the 2025 Monaco Grand Prix.
Chassis 211 is among the most special and sought-after Grand Prix Ferraris ever made, with Schumacher driving that specific number to the fourth of his record seven Drivers’ World Championship crowns.

On May 27, 2001, the German claimed victory with the chassis on the streets of Monte Carlo – and was still running it when he and Ferrari were confirmed as that year’s champions at the Hungarian Grand Prix 12 weeks later.
In a couple of months’ time, chassis 211 will be returned to Monaco and auctioned off at the site of its famous victory, with bidding due to begin at 1515 local time on Saturday, May 24, just before qualifying for the 2025 Grand Prix gets underway.
Schumacher’s car will be put on display within F1’s prestigious and exclusive Paddock Club, a jaw-dropping location that places it at the very heart of the action.
