Forward Mouhamed Dioubate will be on the third SEC team of his collegiate career, but the LSU Tigers are hoping he’s found the place where he’ll finally reach his potential.
Dioubate is a former four-star recruit who committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide out of high school.
He was ranked as the No. 22 power forward in the 2023 class, according to 247Sports.
Dioubate spent two seasons playing for Nate Oats at Alabama before transferring to the Kentucky Wildcats for the 2025-26 season.
Checking in at 6-foot-7, 220 pounds, the big man entered the transfer portal again after this past season, and now he’s wound up in Baton Rouge.
Dioubate committed to LSU via the transfer portal on Monday. He’s Will Wade’s first transfer portal commit since he became the Tigers coach (again) on March 26.
