Franz Wagner’s availability for Game 5 is looking to be in doubt.
The Orlando Magic forward has been diagnosed with a right calf strain, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported Tuesday.
It’s uncertain if Wagner will be able to go in Game 5. According to Charania, it “will depend on (his) response to treatment.”
Wagner left the Magic’s 94-88 win over the Detroit Pistons Monday with 1:34 left to play in the third quarter with right calf soreness.
The 24-year-old averaged 20.6 points and 5.2 rebounds per game in an injury-riddled season that saw him play just 34 games.
His Magic, up 3-1 in the series, will look to close out the Pistons on Wednesday.
