Dubois (22-3, 21 KOs) is attempting to become a two-time world champion. He holds stoppage wins over Anthony Joshua and Filip Hrgovic, but has not returned to the win column since his fifth-round loss to Oleksandr Usyk in their rematch last year.
Hearn said Wardley’s recent results have made him difficult to pick against.
“I’ve backed against Wardley about the last five times, and he’s proved me wrong the last five times. I don’t even really want to back him, but if you ask me honestly, I believe Wardley will stop Daniel Dubois late in the fight,” Hearn said to Boxing News.
The matchup presents a contrast in styles, with Wardley relying on pressure and durability, while Dubois brings a more structured approach built around his jab. Wardley’s draw with Frazer Clarke showed that he can be held at range, which could be a factor if Dubois establishes control early.
The event will be broadcast live on DAZN, with doors opening at 5:00 PM BST and main event ring walks expected around 10:00 PM BST.
The undercard includes a heavyweight bout between Bakhodir Jalolov and Agron Smakici after Jared Anderson withdrew due to injury, along with domestic matchups featuring Jack Rafferty vs Ekow Essuman, Liam Cameron vs Brad Rea, and Khaleel Majid vs Gavin Gwynne.
Wardley makes the first defense of his full WBO title, while Dubois looks to re-enter the title picture with a win.
