For most teams, the idea of playing two natural attackers at fullback would be filled with risk — defensively, these players would become vulnerable targets for the opposition. The theory is not quite so problematic for Gotham FC, who have fielded Midge Purce and Guro Reiten respectively on the right and left side of their back four in recent weeks, winning three consecutive games, keeping three clean sheets in the process.
