The 2027 March Madness tournament will begin with selections on Sunday, March 14. The tournament lasts through the Final Four in Detroit on April 3 and 5.
The 2027 tournament will be the first of the 76-team era, up from 68 teams. The addition means there will be 12 Opening Round games on Tuesday, March 16 and Wednesday, March 17 before the 64-team First Round on Thursday, March 18 and Friday, March 19.
