Barcelona closed out their final home game of the La Liga season with a 3-1 win over Real Betis at the Camp Nou, completing a historic campaign under Hansi Flick.
The victory ensured the Catalans became the first side in Spanish top-flight history to win all 19 home matches in a 38-game La Liga season.
The evening also carried emotional weight as Robert Lewandowski made his final home appearance for Barcelona after four seasons with the club. The striker received a standing ovation when substituted late on, leaving the pitch visibly emotional.
Barcelona dominated much of the first half and finally broke through in the 28th minute through Raphinha. After being fouled just outside the penalty area, the Brazilian bent a superb left-footed free-kick around the wall and into the bottom corner to make it 1-0.
The hosts had threatened repeatedly before the breakthrough. Joao Cancelo produced a dazzling solo run early on, while Raphinha and Fermin Lopez were both denied by Alvaro Valles, who kept Betis within touching distance before the interval.
Second-half goal frenzy
Despite improving after the break, Betis were punished for a major defensive error on 62 minutes. Hector Bellerín carelessly surrendered possession on the edge of his own box, gifting Raphinha a simple opportunity that the winger calmly converted for his second goal of the night.
Betis briefly threatened a comeback midway through the second half. Following a VAR review, the visitors were awarded a penalty after Gavi was adjudged to have fouled Isco inside the area. Isco converted from the spot in the 69th minute to reduce the deficit to 2-1.
There was a moment of real danger shortly afterwards when Antony curled a strike narrowly wide of the far post, but Barcelona quickly restored their control.
In the 74th minute, Cancelo capped an excellent display with a superb long-range finish, bending a precise effort into the bottom-right corner after being picked out by Pedri.
Lewandowski nearly marked his farewell with a goal of his own late on, firing just over from inside the area before being substituted.
