The Gonzaga Bulldogs will take on first-year coach Casey Alexander (previously with the Belmont Bruins) and the Kansas State Wildcats in the opening round of the Players Era 16 in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Nov. 24.
The Zags are 1-2 against the Wildcats in their all-time history. Last season, Kansas State finished with a 12-20 overall record and placed second-to-last in the Big 12 Conference standings with a 3-15 conference record. Previous coach Jerome Tang was fired midway through his fourth season in February.
Gonzaga could then end up matching up with either the Baylor Bears or Alabama Crimson Tide on Nov. 26 and either the reigning champion Michigan Wolverines, Creighton Bluejays, Miami Hurricanes, or TCU Horned Frogs on Nov. 28.
The Players Era championship will take place on Nov. 28. All the games for the Bulldogs are set for the T-Mobile Arena on the ESPN Networks.
Here is the update to Gonzaga’s potential 2026-27 non-conference schedule, with not all dates/locations/times finalized.
vs. Purdue Boilermakers (Nov. 2, 2026, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada)
Players Era Festival (Nov. 24-28, 2026, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada)
vs. Michigan State Spartans (Dec. 19, 2026, at Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs, California)
vs. Duke Blue Devils (Feb. 20, 2027, at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan)
at Creighton Bluejays (Chi Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska)
vs. UCLA Bruins (To be determined)
vs. Oregon Ducks (To be determined)
The matchups with the Big Ten Conference’s UCLA Bruins and Oregon Ducks are on the fence, either taking place in the 2026-27 or 2027-28 season.
UCLA would be the first game of their renewed two-year neutral site series, and Oregon the second game of their two-year neutral site series.
