More like a rock festival than a Formula 1 race, it’s no wonder Singapore has firmly cemented itself as a fan’s favorite since joining the F1 calendar in 2008. The trackside atmosphere at Marina Bay is electric and the organizers put on an big show which goes a long way to justifying the high ticket prices, including A-list concerts and a spectacular fireworks display after the race has finished. It’s hot and humid in Singapore. Dress in light, loose clothing (leave your jeans at home), pack an extra top if you are prone to sweating a lot, and wear comfortable shoes. Don’t forget to check the weather forecast for any signs of rain, as late afternoon storms are not uncommon at this time of year in Singapore.

Access & Orientation: Marina Bay Street Circuit

App: Download the Singapore Grand Prix app for storing your digital tickets, circuit map, on-track schedule and concert details

Gate Opening Times: During the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix weekend, the circuit gates will be open from 13:30 (Zone 1 & 2) or 14:00 (Zones 3 & 4) on Friday, 14:15 on Saturday and from 15:00 on Sunday. Gate closing times have not yet been announced for 2026, but last year gates closed at midnight on all three nights.

Access Gates: There are ten access gates, each of which has an express lane if you are entering without a bag. If you are carrying a bag, you will need to have it examined. Large items such as folding chairs are not permitted in the circuit. Outside food and drinks are also not permitted, apart from one empty plastic bottle up to 600ml in size.

Circuit Zones: The Marina Bay Street Circuit is divided into four zones. Some tickets provide entry to all zones, whilst other tickets only provide entry to one zone. If you are also keen to see a particular concert, ensure that your chosen ticket provides access to the zone where the concert will be held. More about the different zones at Marina Bay is in the tickets section of our guide. For reference, Zone 1 is where the pits, Singapore flyer, Wharf Stage and many of the best grandstands are located. Zone 1 is the best zone and we recommend getting access, as it’s less crowded (the cheapest ticket with entry to all zones is Premier Walkabout). In order to move to other zones, Zone 1 and 2 ticket holders need to pick up a wrist band each day from information booths.

Getting to the Circuit: Getting Around has more information on the best way to get to the circuit, including the closest metro (MRT) station and recommended entry gate for your grandstand

Singapore Flyer (Ferris Wheel): If you have a ticket for Zone 1 or Zone 2, rides on the Singapore Flyer are complimentary on race weekend.

2026 Singapore Grand Prix Schedule

F1 Sprint: For the first time, the F1 Sprint format will be used at the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix.

Support Categories: Porsche Carrera Cup Asia is the only support category at the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix. It will contest the final round of its season at the Marina Bay track. The support paddocks is usually open to fans at selected times during the weekend.

Driver Appearances: The F1 drivers will be appearing on the Wharf Stage in Zone 1 for a Fan Forum (Q&A) on Friday (14:30-15:10) and Saturday (15:10-15:40) at the 2026 Singapore GP. Different teams appear on each day. You need to have a valid Zone 1 ticket in order to attend.

Singapore Grand Prix Concerts & Entertainment

Headliner concert performers for the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix have not yet been announced. Stage locations and performances from 2025 are displayed on the map above.

Marina Bay feels more like a music festival than a motor race at times! You’ll find multiple stages around the circuit plus roving performers from all over the world, including illusionists, theater and circus-cabaret acts. The main Padang Stage in Zone 4 hosts the biggest headline concerts which close out the program on all three days of the weekend. The smaller Wharf Stage in Zone 1 also hosts concerts from major acts over the weekend, with the exception of the biggest headliners.

Last year, headliner artists included G-Dragon, Elton John, Foo Fighters, Crowded House, The Smashing Pumpkins, Lewis Capaldi, Clean Bandit and Maisie Peters. Learn more about Singapore Grand Prix concerts here.

Driver Appearances in the Fan Forum

The popular Fan Forum normally takes place on the Wharf Stage in Zone 1, on Friday and Saturday afternoons. Different teams appear on each day. The promoter has already shared the times for the Fan Forum at the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix, which will take place on Friday from 14:30-15:10 and on Saturday from 15:10-15:40. Don’t forget that you’ll need to have a ticket with access to Zone 1 in order to attend.

Food, Drink & Amenities at Marina Bay Street Circuit

Food and drink stalls are dotted around the circuit, with the biggest concentration in the Padang area of Zone 4 and near the Singapore flyer in Zone 1. Look out for the ‘hawker’ villages which sell a range of tasty Asian fare, including satays, noodles and curries. Most meals inside the circuit are priced at around $10-20 SGD ($7.70-15.40 USD), though more expensive options exist as well. A large beer will set you back $17 SGD ($13 USD), cheaper than at the majority of bars outside the circuit, whilst a bottle of water costs $4 SGD ($3 USD) and soft drinks $5 SGD ($4 USD).

If you are on a budget, there are plenty of cheaper outlets for food and drink just outside of the circuit if you want a quick break, some of which are air-conditioned. Just remember you can’t bring back any food or alcohol back into the circuit. There are even a few regular supermarkets where you can stock up within the circuit, including at the Esplanade Mall in Zone 4. Toilets are mostly of the portable type, but they are clean and queues are uncommon, even on race day. See below for sample food and drink prices from the 2025 Singapore GP.
