The Ole Miss Rebels have received a massive commitment from four-star offensive lineman Antonio Keefer.
It’s a literal and figurative big commitment for the Rebels as well. Keefer checks in at nearly 6-foot-5, 320 pounds, and 247Sports ranks him as the No. 22 offensive lineman in the 2027 class.
He took an official visit to Oxford this past weekend and walked away ready to commit to Pete Golding and the Rebels.
This is a commitment that has been a long time in the works, though. In fact, Ole Miss was the first school to offer the four-star from Memphis, Tennessee.
Lane Kiffin was still the head coach at Ole Miss then, but the relationship continued into the Golding era.
“They were the first one to offer in May of last year,” Keefer told Rivals. “When they offered me, it made me feel like I actually had a chance and a place to start. They believed in me, and that meant a lot. Ole Miss was my top school from the beginning.”
Ole Miss has always been the leader in the clubhouse for Keefer, but the LSU Tigers (and Kiffin), Ohio State Buckeyes and Memphis Tigers were also in the running.
