If the Missouri Tigers want to remain competitive in the loaded SEC, Eli Drinkwitz and his staff will have to be diligent on the recruiting trail and in the transfer portal.
The Tigers did pretty well this past winter in the first part. In all, 30 players transferred in to play at Mizzou. Drinkwitz’s 2026 transfer portal class was ranked No. 20 in the country.
Mizzou still has work to do on the 2027 recruiting trail, but Drinkwitz and his staff picked up a huge commitment on Thursday.
Beating out the Florida Gators, Arkansas Razorbacks and Iowa Hawkeyes, Missouri landed one of the top athletes in the country.
That commitment came from wide receiver Lawrence Britt.
