After first appearing on early release calendars last November, the Nike Zoom Huarache 2K4 “Sue Bird” PE is finally coming into focus through official retailer images.
This marks the first-ever retail release of a relatively obscure Player Exclusive from Nike Basketball’s mid-2000s era; originally created for WNBA legend Sue Bird during her tenure with the Seattle Storm, the colorway pays tribute to the franchise that she helped transform into one of the league’s premier organizations.
The design stays true to the original PE with a crisp white leather upper accented by Deep Forest green and Canyon Gold, drawing directly from the Storm’s classic team colors. Personalized details remain intact as well, including Bird’s iconic No. 10 stitched onto both heels and “BIRDY” embroidered along the collar
Nike has spent much of 2026 celebrating the legacy of the Zoom Huarache 2K4 through a steady stream of releases beginning with the All-Star edition earlier this year and the soon-to-release “Penny Hardaway” PE in Knicks colors. For 2K4 lovers, this Sue Bird might be too good to pass up.
The Nike Zoom Huarache 2K4 “Sue Bird” PE is scheduled to release on July 24th for $200 via Nike Basketball retailers and SNKRS.
