Ryan Garcia, Shakur Stevenson and Conor Benn were among the boxing stars in attendance Friday at the UFC 329 ceremonial weigh-ins in Las Vegas.
Zuffa Boxing shared video of the trio arriving at the event. The footage showed Shakur carrying a jug of water and a coffee cup, while Ryan and Benn made separate entrances before the ceremonial weigh-ins got underway.
The appearance comes as all three remain central figures in Zuffa Boxing’s plans over the coming months. Shakur signed with the promotion Thursday, while Benn is expected to face Ryan in a welterweight bout on Sept. 12 if the remaining promotional details are finalized.
The video also continues the growing crossover between UFC and Zuffa Boxing, with Dana White’s combat sports brands using major UFC events to showcase boxing talent ahead of future cards.
Shakur does not currently have a fight scheduled. During Thursday’s press conference, he said he wants future fights against Conor Benn, Devin Haney or Gervonta Davis after publicly rejecting a proposed matchup with fellow Zuffa Boxing fighter Jose “Rayo” Valenzuela.
The appearance also offered another look at how Zuffa intends to market its boxing roster alongside UFC events. Featuring established champions and headline attractions during major UFC weekends keeps their names in front of fans while reinforcing the company’s effort to build crossover interest ahead of upcoming boxing cards.
