After the 2024 college football season, fans were left wondering if the storied rivalry between the USC Trojans and Notre Dame Fighting Irish would be continued.
The two sides hadn’t agreed to more games and there were no indications that an agreement for future games was close.
That all changed on Monday, though, as the two programs took to social media to announce the renewal of one of the best rivalries in the history of college football.
Four-game series beginning in 2030 has been agreed to
In a post first shared by the official USC X account, the program announced that a new four-game series between the Trojans and Fighting Irish will take place starting in 2030.
The teams will play each year from 2030-33, with the games in 2030 and 2032 taking place at the L.A. Coliseum and the games in 2031 and 2033 taking place at Notre Dame.
