Mike Gundy and the Oklahoma State Cowboys added two players through the spring transfer portal window, continuing their recruiting hot streak.

The team snagged commitments from Northwestern’s Calvin Johnson II and Vanderbilt’s De’Marion Thomas.

Johnson II, a junior from French Camp, Mississippi, is the son of legendary wide receiver Calvin Johnson, who recorded more than 11,000 yards and 80 touchdowns in his nine-year NFL Career. Johnson II has snagged 17 catches in his collegiate career, totaling 176 yards.

Last season with the Vanderbilt Commodores, De’Marion Thomas recorded 34 total tackles and one sack as a sophomore. The native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, did not field an offer from Oklahoma State or Oklahoma when coming out of high school, but chose the Commodores over offers from eight different programs, including Kansas, Iowa State, Baylor, Texas Tech, Arkansas, and more.

With the two additions, Oklahoma State has a total of 30 players joining the group through the transfer portal. They check in with the Big 12’s fourth-best transfer class and the nation’s 26th-ranked crew.
