The Tampa Bay Rays will be well represented during the World Baseball Classic.
The organization will have eight players representing their countries during the tournament:

Jonathan Aranda and Junior Caminero are the most notable representatives from the Rays as both turned in All-Star seasons in 2025.
Caminero in particular has been clamoring to play for the D.R., joking with manager Albert Pujols last Spring that he’d happy just to be the water boy. After a breakout season, Caminero is much more likely to be the national team’s designated hitter.
Griffin Jax, meanwhile, says pitching for the USA team is the easiest decision he has ever made in his life; Jax is the first ever Air Force Academy graduate to reach the big leagues.
Across the pond, two Rays pitching prospects will suit up for Great Britain as Owen Wild and Gary Gill Hill was pitch toe the rubber for king and country.
The first chance to see a Rays rep in the games will be on Friday, March 6th when Great Britain takes on Mexico at 1:00pm ET; Team USA will play later that night.
Teams will be divided into four pools. The top two teams from each pool will then advance to the quarter finals and play a series of single elimination games. The winners will advance to the semifinals and then eventually the championship game.
