Both the Mariners and Blue Jays are in the midst of a World Series drought but I think it’s safe to say that the fans in Seattle are desperate to see their team pull off a win tonight. That’ll bring them one win away from the World Series, which will bring them as close as they’ve ever been to winning the AL Pennant. They won two games in both the 1995 and 2000 ALCS and then they face-planted in five against the Yankees back in 2001. They now have a golden opportunity to go up 3-0 with George Kirby taking the mound while Toronto counters with Shane Bieber.
Will we see the Mariners take that one step closer to the World Series, or will we see the Blue Jays get up off of the mat?
