The Cincinnati Reds have made some new additions to the lineup of attendees for next weekend’s Redsfest. Earlier this week they released a bunch of players, both past and present, as well as others with ties to the organization who would be at the convention center for Redsfest but there were a few names that seemed to be missing. The biggest name missing was superstar Elly De La Cruz. What was so strange about that was that while he was not listed by the team in their official update, he was listed as being available for a season ticket holder only event at Redsfest on Friday night.
There’s no longer much confusion as this afternoon Elly De La Cruz was added to the updated list of attendees. But he was not the only person added to the list, either. Here are the new additions to the list that was released today:
New additions from the 40-man roster:
Elly De La CruzKe’Bryan HayesNoelvi Marte
New additions from the minor league players:
Carlos JorgeArnaldo Lantigua

Some big additions on the list today. Barry Larkin being added is a big one, as well as getting two more big leaguers on top of De La Cruz with Ke’Bryan Hayes and Noelvi Marte being added to the list. With the three current player adds, there are now 36 players on the 40-man roster who are scheduled to be there. Those not scheduled currently: Jose Franco, Chase Petty, Brady Singer, and Edwin Arroyo.
Both Jose Franco and Edwin Arroyo are participating in winter league baseball and their teams are currently in the playoffs in the Venezuelan and Puerto Rican winter leagues.
