This week’s minor league roundup will only feature the numbers accumulated prior to the start of play on Monday.

This was the 15th week of minor league play.

According to FanGraphs (which factors in age and proximity to the big leagues), the overall top hitter in the Rays farm system has changed once again. 25-year old Tristan Peters continues to hold the top spot. The Rays originally acquired Peters from the Giants in a 40-man roster deadline deal following the 2022 season. Thus far in 2025, Peters is hitting .302/.395/.479 with 8 HR and 10 SB over 334 plate appearances, registering a 132 wRC+

Meanwhile, Joe Boyle has been called up to the big leagues so that means the top pitching spot goes back to Ian Seymour (Seymour’s full season stats can be seen further below).

RUMBLINGS

Xavier Isaac has been placed on the Injured List. The move was retroactive to July 5th, but the former first round pick hadn’t played since June 25th.
Bob Seymour has spent just over a year in Triple-A Durham. Since his promotion late last June, Seymour is hitting .269/.339/.567 with 41 HR over 137 games played witha 29.0 K% & 9.5 BB% over 566 PA.
Duncan Davitt has been promoted to Triple-A Durham. While other pitching prospects receive much more notice, Davitt has queitly been among the top performing starting pitchers in the Rays system since being drafted in 2022. Among hurlers with at least 200 IP since then for the Rays, Davitt has the 3rd lowest FIP, 6th lowest opponent batting average, and 3rd highest K-BB%.
Shane McClanahan has been assigned to the Complex League to behing his rehab assignment
Baseball America has updated their top 30. More on this will be published later.
