This week’s minor league roundup will only feature the numbers accumulated prior to the start of play on Monday.

This was the 25th week of minor league play.

According to FanGraphs (which factors in age and proximity to the big leagues), newcomer Jadher Areinamo remains the top hitter in the Rays system; the Rays acquired the 21-year old infielder from Milwaukee for Danny Jansen in late July.

Meanwhile, Ty Johnson continues to be the team’s top minor league pitcher. The 23-year old came to the Rays as part of the return for Isaac Paredes and is having a fantastic season in Double-A.

Brody Hopkins was selected as one of the players on Baseball America’s Hot Sheet“He has some of the best pure stuff in the minors with a plus fastball and curveball, as well as multiple other pitch shapes he can throw for strikes. An outstanding athlete, Hopkins should spend most of 2026 with Triple-A Durham as he waits for his opportunity with the Rays”There is lots of movement around the system with the Single-A and High-A seasons concluding. Several players are making cameo in the upper levels with the most notable being Santiago Suarez. The Montgomery Biscuits begin their foray into playoffs tonight; Brody Hopkins has the start
