The Barons and Dash kept their winning streaks alive Wednesday while the Knights lost an eleven-inning, 27-run thriller.

Jeral Perez slugged his 16th home run of the season for the Dash, Shane Murphy turned in five shutout innings in Birmingham, and Will Robertson went deep twice for the Knights.

Triple-A Charlotte Knights (47-50)

The Knights dropped a wild one, 14-13, against the Nashville Sounds. The Knights took a 12-8 lead in the tenth thanks to back-to-back-to-back doubles, but allowed four runs in the bottom of the frame and eventually fell in the eleventh. Will Robertson (3-for-6, 2 HR), Blake Sabol (2-for-5, HR, 2B), and Dominic Fletcher (3-for-5, 2 2B) paced the offense, while Noah Syndergaard made his Knights debut.

Double-A Birmingham Barons (54-38)

The Barons won their 11th game in a row thanks to the stellar pitching of Shane Murphy and the bullpen. Murphy fired five scoreless innings, lowering his ERA to 1.69 and WHIP to 0.82 across 90.2 innings this year. Rikuu Nishida reached base four times, and Sam Antonacci continued his torrid start with Birmingham, notching a double and walking twice.

High-A Winston Salem Dash (35-55)

The Dash also continued their winning ways, picking up their third straight W. Winston Salem put up all eight of its runs in the first two innings. Jeral Perez launched his 16th homer of the year, a two-run shot, before Alec Makarewicz hit a two-run homer of his own later in the inning. Braden Montgomery and Samuel Zavala drove in runs in the second.

Single-A Kannapolis Cannon Ballers (43-49)

Grant Umberger was roughed up for ten hits and four runs by the North Division-leading Carolina Mudcats as the Ballers fell 9-3. At the plate, Kannapolis managed only singles. Mikey Kane reached base three times, while George Wolkow recorded a pair of RBIs.

ACL White Sox (32-27)

The ACL Sox had Wednesday off. They conclude their regular season with a game against the ACL Padres Thursday evening. The team was eliminated from postseason contention when the ACL Rangers took down the ACL Dodgers on Wednesday. The Rangers now lead the ACL West Division over the Sox by one game, but the Rangers hold the tiebreaker thanks to their 3-1 record against the Sox this year.

DSL White Sox (17-16)

The DSL White Sox also enjoyed an off day on Wednesday. The team is back in action on Thursday against the DSL Blue Jays Red.
